Aligned Health Law, LLC Adds Two Industry Veterans as Partners
Brandie Mask and Simone Otenaike join as partners following the firm’s launch in April
ATLANTA, May 12, 2025 – Aligned Health Law, LLC (AHL), a purpose-built, boutique, national health-law firm, announced today that Brandie Mask and Simone Otenaike have joined the firm as partners. Mask and Otenaike are seasoned attorneys who have significant experience counseling clients in the healthcare industry, with a specific focus on venture capital / emerging growth companies, digital health and biotechnology innovation, and AI-driven healthcare enterprises.
Mask brings over a decade of experience as a corporate attorney representing emerging and high-growth companies, venture capitalists and private equity sponsors on a wide range of corporate and transactional matters. Mask leverages a deep understanding of the legal and strategic challenges faced by founders, companies and investors at all stages of the corporate lifecycle. “I’m thrilled to join the people-first, highly collaborative culture that Laurice and Jenn have created at AHL,” said Brandie Mask. “AHL is the ideal platform to leverage my experience and passion for guiding founders, emerging and high-growth companies, and investors as they scale, innovate and navigate financings and complex transactions.”
Otenaike joins AHL with a decade of healthcare experience structuring complex transactions, negotiating commercial agreements, and providing day-to-day operational and compliance counsel for a broad spectrum of healthcare clients, with a focus on digital health and biotechnology innovators, AI-driven healthcare enterprises, and institutional investors. Otenaike also handles regulatory issues such as licensure and accreditation, fee-splitting and the corporate practice of medicine, health information privacy, healthcare fraud and abuse, and the various complex legal frameworks that govern innovation in the healthcare sector. She is also a trusted advisor to healthcare organizations seeking to harness the power of AI and data, offering practical solutions that balance innovation with compliance and risk management.
“What drew me to AHL was their thoughtful, forward-looking approach to serving healthcare clients—grounded not just in legal excellence, but in shared values,” said Simone Otenaike. “Their focus on mission-driven, impactful work—especially at the intersection of health and technology—resonates deeply with my own commitment to supporting clients who are pushing boundaries in meaningful ways. I’m excited to join a team that’s not only shaping the future of healthcare law, but doing it with purpose.”
